The firm KuiperCompagnons designed a complex consisting of various types of dwellings plus a school, grouped around a large courtyard traversed by a bicycle path. A two-part apartment block, which also incorporates the school, occupies one of the street-facing sides. Unique features include the glazes aerial bridge between two building sections, the height variations of the end building, and the slightly leaning steel columns on the inward-facing side. The columns support a generously overhanging roof which imparts plasticity to the facades.
